Celebrating Emerging Talent in the Performing Arts

Registration: May 1 – 17, 2024

Auditions and Performance: May 18, 2024

Entry Categories

  • Division 1: Ages 10-13
  • Division 2: Ages 14-18
  • Three categories in each division: Vocal, Instrumental, and Acting

Preliminary Auditions: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • Audition details:
    • For vocal and instrumental categories:
      • Participants can perform one song with a 4-minute time limit.
      • Please bring your own accompanist or accompaniment track.
      • Songs should be performed a cappella only if the song was initially written to be performed that way.
    • For acting category:
      • Participants should perform two contrasting monologues with a 2-minute total time limit for both monologues.

Finals: 7:00 p.m.

  • Division 1 places and prizes: Top 3 in each category
    • 1st place: $75.00; 2nd place: $50.00; 3rd place: $35.00
  • Division 2 places and prizes: Top 3 in each category
  • 1st place: $100.00; 2nd place: $75.00; 3rd place: $50.00

Entry Fee: $10.00 per performance

Entry in multiple categories is encouraged.

Suze’s PCA is a dedicated and purpose-built arts center and campus in Prescott, AZ for people of all ages to inspire and be inspired, discover the arts, make connections, and explore and refine their creativity. We believe youth are the foundation of healthy, vibrant, creative communities. Therefore, our youth programs are a cornerstone for why Suze’s PCA exists.

Our campus is designed for artists of all ages to explore, perform, and create. Our spaces feature state-of-the-art theaters, classrooms, including a ceramic studio, and flexible, multipurpose rooms. No matter where you are in your creative journey, we have a space and program for you!

Our Cornerstone Programs

Family Theater


Productions allow children and parents to perform and/or work behind the scenes. These family-friendly shows are a great way to be introduced to theater, audition, and have fun. Shows range from beloved Disney tales to new adaptions of the classics.

Art Camps

Young artists enjoy performance activities or art-making with highly skilled instructors. Camp themes include a variety of visual and/or performing arts experiences. Camps may culminate into a final event such as an art exhibit or performance.

Classes & Workshops

Classes and workshops focus on a specific visual or performing art medium, technique, or topic. Classes and workshops are designed to increase and refine skills and knowledge through practice and feedback.

Annual Scholarship Competition

An annual Youth Arts Scholarship Competition for emerging and advanced artists in fine and performing arts which includes portfolio and audition reviews and feedback. The competition culminates in a visual art exhibit and a performance recognition event. Winners may receive class, workshop, camp, and/or monetary awards.
