At Suze’s PCA it takes a village to select a great season. We have a committee that reads a lot of plays and then recommends the new season to the Executive Director & the Board.

Directors are encouraged to put forth the shows that they would like to direct. Your name will ride with the script and you will have right of 1st refusal to direct if your suggestion is on the final recommendation list.

Call for Plays

Anyone can submit a play for the ’25-’26 Season. All submissions are welcome. Here’s the play submission guidelines:

All plays must have a way to access them by the committee – either submit a script or a link to a youtube version of the play.
Directors can submit their name with the play they would like to direct. Directors who are new to PCA will have to co-direct with an Experienced PCA director before directing a show here on their own.
In selecting your play please consider:
- Our demographic’s taste
- Shows that have proven track records for selling well to our demographic
- Strong audience attractors
- Shows with smaller casts
- No Shakespeare please
- Shows that are lighter so we offer our patrons a respite from their cares during these stressful times.
Drop off scripts in the PCA Office Building, in the conference room to the immediate right when you come in the door. There is a box on the table marked “Play Submissions”. Or you can email Celia.
